Crashtag is an innovative application with the potential to enhance safety and awareness in motorsport. With this application, incident and injury data can be collected, stored, and analyzed more easily and accurately. This can assist researchers and policymakers in making better decisions regarding motorsport safety in the future.

Data Accuracy Threatened, Accessibility and Ease of Use Pose Challenges

One of the main challenges for Crashtag is ensuring the accuracy of reported data. To address this, the application features a review function that allows administrators or organizers to merge similar data. Additionally, Crashtag also has an export feature to enable National Motorsport Federations (ASN) to send data to the FIA World Accident Database.

Some challenges faced by AIMSS in the Crashtag application are:

The application is less accessible and quite complex to use.
Slowness in the incident reporting process.
Difficulty in verifying data accuracy.
Complexity of reporting forms.
