They have programs and facilities on the property of a sanctuary in Victoria to improve the lives of horses and people. They help retired racehorses find new goals and provide a safe place for humans to interact with horses. Its goal is to improve the welfare of horses and people across Australia.

Retired Horse and Human Welfare Transition is very limited
The Horse and Human Foundation faces several challenges that need to be addressed in their mission to improve the welfare of horses and people. This challenge made the horse and human foundation want to solve it by presenting a website. The challenges are:
- Retired Horse Transition Problem where Retired Racehorses face difficulties in finding new goals once their racing career is over.
- Limited Human Well-Being whereby Humans often lack access to safe and supportive environments that can enhance their health and well-being.
- The general public does not have adequate understanding and awareness about the importance of horse care and the benefits of equestrian therapy for humans.
- It's hard to expand to Build more properties and develop partnerships with other organizations to achieve horse and human welfare goals across Australia.
- Limitations of Collaboration and Partnerships Where Broader Cooperation with organizations, educational institutions and governments is needed to create more positive solutions in equine and human well-being.
