Horse and Human Foundation, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of horses and humans in Australia. With their comprehensive programs, facilities, and resources, they strive to revolutionize lives and set new standards in equine and human welfare.
The foundation encounters several challenges on its journey. One significant challenge lies in the successful transition of retired racehorses, as they face difficulties in finding a new purpose after their racing careers conclude. Additionally, there is a pressing need to address the limited well-being of humans, who often lack access to safe and supportive environments that can foster their health and overall wellness. Furthermore, raising public awareness and understanding about the importance of equine care and the therapeutic benefits of horse-human interaction is another challenge they face.
However, the goals of Horse and Human Foundation are crystal clear. They aspire to improve the lives of retired racehorses and humans through their comprehensive programs. They are committed to providing top-notch care for retired horses, ensuring they find new purposes and enjoy dignified lives. Simultaneously, they strive to create safe and welcoming spaces for humans to interact with horses and discover new ways to nurture their health and well-being.
My journey with Horse and Human Foundation began when they reached out to me for assistance with web design. Together, we embarked on an exciting collaboration, iterating and testing designs to create an exceptional online experience. This one-time project with the foundation allowed me to contribute to their brand journey, and I am thrilled to be a part of their impactful mission.
In helping the Horse and Human Foundation design their website, I implemented a User-Centered Design approach coupled with a design workshop to ensure the user experience is the main focus. I actively involve the founders, administrators, and member community in assessing and testing designs, listening to their feedback and making necessary improvements. My goal is to create an optimal user experience so that Horse and Human Foundation information and programs can be conveniently accessed by visitors.
This project is a one-off collaboration with the Horse and Human Foundation, but I am thrilled to be a part of their brand journey. By being involved in designing this web, I have contributed to strengthening the Horse and Human Foundation’s image and helping them achieve their noble goal of improving the welfare of horses and people.
I started information gathering with the Horse and Human Foundation through Stakeholder Insights and Discussions. Together with stakeholders from non-profit organizations, we collaboratively explore their perspectives to gain deep insights.
In intensive discussion sessions, I actively involve stakeholders, such as founders, administrators, and members of the Horse and Human Foundation community. We share their ideas, experiences and views on the challenges and opportunities in the non-profit organization sector. I listen intently, ask questions, and encourage open discussion that allows us to understand the Horse and Human Foundation’s noble purpose in promoting the welfare of horses and people.
Through this experience, I became amazed by the noble cause that the Horse and Human Foundation carries. I am inspired by their commitment to fighting for the welfare of horses and people and making positive contributions to society. Through collaboration with stakeholders, we were able to gain valuable insights and ensure that the designs and strategies we implemented in this project were in line with the vision and mission of the Horse and Human Foundation.
Using a targeted and innovative approach, I turn the insights and ideas gleaned from stakeholders into tangible realities. Through a comprehensive site map, I created a clear and intuitive guide for visitors to the Horse and Human Foundation website. I combined my expertise in wireframing to design a basic framework that optimizes layout, interaction, and engaging content visualization. In this process, I actively involve stakeholders, so as to get diverse and inspiring perspectives in developing lo-fi prototypes.
In the usability testing phase, I explored the heartwarming stories of users about the positive impact interactions with horses and Horse and Human Foundation programs have had on their lives. This becomes a solid foundation for producing designs that connect and influence website visitors. In concept testing, I ensured that the proposed design met the goals and message of the Horse and Human Foundation, while gaining inspiration and valuable feedback from stakeholders. With this superior process, I am proud to be a part of the Horse and Human Foundation’s efforts to create impactful and inspiring online experiences for its visitors.
From the test results and the feedback I received, it was revealed that the Horse and Human Foundation wanted a website that was simple yet full of information. This prompted me to think hard and interpret their wishes correctly. I managed to come up with a design that lived up to their expectations, presenting a minimalist but informative look, and presenting content in a way that was easy to understand and navigate. They love art and I dress their website in beautiful art. The compatibility between the goals of the Horse and Human Foundation and the website design that I produce is an achievement that makes me proud.
We again conducted concept tests and tested this new usability to validate our new solution. Our goal was to create a perfect user experience, and yeah this new concept managed to cope with the feedback from the testing team. This gives us the strength and confidence to continue this journey steadily.
Overall, we, Jackson and I, ensured an intuitive, high-impact digital solution that will empower Quantum Fire to shine in the safety and security industry.
In an effort to create strong branding for the Horse and Human Foundation, I faced challenges that fueled my passion and creativity. I asked myself, “How can I create strong branding for the Horse and Human Foundation?” Some of the important points to focus on are that the Horse and Human Foundation is a non-profit organization that reflects the welfare of humans and horses, and how to create branding that can have a high impact in achieving the goals of the Horse and Human Foundation.
In answering this question, they want a website with a stunning artistic appearance and complete with informative copywriting. I started creating a brand style guide for the Horse and Human Foundation, which answered my own questions and covered all the points I highlighted in red earlier. Apart from that, I also create strong art designs to strengthen the brand and increase the value of art. I created illustrations, logos and icons, and searched for visual designs that matched the theme I wanted to feature for the Horse and Human Foundation.
With my belief and creativity, I managed to create a strong brand for the Horse and Human Foundation. Now, when anyone visits their website, I’m sure they will immediately recognize and recognize the Horse and Human Foundation. Of course, this branding will also contribute to the expected increase in conversions.
Overflowing with enthusiasm, I looked at the wireframe patterns I had previously made and found beauty in the branding I had designed for the Horse and Human Foundation. My creative spirit is burning. Transforming wireframes into beautiful and functional UI designs is a fun challenge for me. Uniting all elements to achieve the initial goals and vision and mission of the Horse and Human Foundation became my focus in this high fidelity design process. I utilize all the elements I have created before, such as Wireframes & flows, Visual Design, UI Styleguide and Design Systems, as well as Illustrations and Iconography, to realize rich UI designs (mockups). I really pay attention to every element in order to be able to convey the message that I want to convey to visitors to the Horse and Human Foundation website.
To give my visitors the full experience, I create prototypes and interaction designs. I showed the Horse and Human Foundation a website with beautiful art, and they were very impressed with the results.
In addition, paying attention to every detail of the interaction from the landing page to visitors making contact with Quantum Fire. This aims to provide a better user experience, so that visitors can feel comfortable and have a high level of trust in the solutions we offer. This ensures consistency in the use of design elements that define Quantum Fire’s identity.
In my role as a designer, I carry out a series of test solutions to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the designs I have created. I do design testing to evaluate the visuals, layout, and overall user experience. Through usability testing, I observe and listen to how users use the interfaces I design, and gather valuable feedback that helps me refine and improve my designs. Apart from that, I also do concept testing to test how the elements of the art style that I have created convey the desired message and achieve the desired effect.
In the testing process, I received some small input regarding the copywriting that I had used. While there were considerations with better options, I saw greater opportunity in implementing the suggestions. And when new ideas are implemented, the results are simply stunning. Simple things like tweaking the copywriting can allow testing to achieve flawless results and ensure the message the Horse and Human Foundation wants to convey is heard clearly and effectively.
With these great results, I created a design documentation that includes all the specifications and details of the design that I have created. This documentation will be very meaningful for the Horse and Human Foundation in the further development process, ensuring that the design vision and goals are maintained and implemented properly.
I feel very happy and honored to be involved in the Horse and Human Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the welfare of humans and horses. Through this collaboration, I hope to make a positive contribution to their endeavours and help achieve the nobel goals they are pursuing.
